  • Non-surgical Facial Rejuvenation

Nowadays, many options are available to non-surgically smoothen wrinkles, restore volume, tighten sagging skin, improve skin tone & texture, remove pigmentation, minimize the scar and treat sun-related skin damage to restore a more youthful and radiant facial appearance.

Blepharoplasty

Most treatments are done on an O.P.D. basis with a short 60-90 minute duration, and you can restore day-to-day activity shortly post-procedure.

  • Botox
  • Fillers
  • Lasers
  • Prp
  • Threads

BOTOX- As we age, the early signs are often wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, cheeks & lips( perioral). Botox injections are noted primarily for their ability to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. Botox injections use a toxin called botulinum toxin A to block certain nerve signals that prevent the muscle from contracting; hence, the muscle temporarily relaxes, and the wrinkles reduce. This treatment can smooth fine lines and wrinkles in several areas of your face, including your:

  • Eyebrows
  • Forehead
  • Nose
  • Eyes (crow's feet)
  • Lips
  • Chin
  • Jawline
  • Neck

Botox injections are done as an O.P.D. procedure. The effects are seen within a week & last for 3-6 months.

fillers: Dermal fillers are injected to enhance facial features or gain a youthful appearance. Dermal fillers plump up wrinkles and smooth lines and restore volume to your face. You may choose to get dermal fillers to:

  • Add volume to sagging skin.
  • Make your facial features more symmetrical.
  • Plump up lips and cheeks.
  • Smooth wrinkles and creases on your face.

This elective treatment usually takes less than half an hour, and recovery time is minimal. Results are seen immediately and last months to years, depending on the type of filler and location.

CHEMICAL PEELS- Mild to moderate strength acids like alpha hydroxyl, glycolic, lactic acid, citric acid, and T.C.A. are commonly used for skin resurfacing. They work by superficially exfoliating the skin, creating a more youthful appearance. Pre and post-treatment regimens increase the effectiveness of chemical peels and should be followed diligently.

LASERS- Laser resurfacing induces an epidermal or dermal injury and regeneration, resulting in improved skin tone, effaced wrinkles, and reduced dyspigmentation. Lasers are also used to treat scars, hair removal, pigmented lesions, vascular lesions & unwanted tattoos. Lasers can be an effective and simple way to improve your cosmetic appearance and help bring back confidence.

PLATELET RICH PLASMA - P.R.P. has a high concentration of platelets which allows for the formation and release of growth factors and active proteins that promote healing. It is widely used in facial skin rejuvenation and hair restoration.

PROCEDURE A blood sample is taken and placed in a centrifuge, spun around to extract protein-rich plasma. The platelets are also removed. The sample is then concentrated and called platelet-rich plasma (P.R.P.). The high growth factors in the P.R.P. help the body heal.

The P.R.P. facial can benefit people with wrinkles, sun damage, or scars. By placing P.R.P. back into the skin, cell proliferation is encouraged. This leads to an increase in elastin and collagen production. As a result, the skin will look tighter, fuller, and smoother.

P.R.P. therapy for HAIR- where the P.R.P. is injected into the scalp through a fine syringe in places where hair is thinning, can help in hair growth & increasing density of hair.

THREAD LIFT - A thread lift is a type of procedure wherein temporary sutures produce a subtle but visible "lift" in the skin. Instead of surgically removing the patient's loose facial skin, the cosmetic surgeon suspends it by stitching up portions. This has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and lifting and tightening the face.

In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads combat ageing in another way: by provoking the body's "healing response" and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas. This is important because collagen plays a vital role in the ageing process.

The procedure is done on an O.P.D. basis under Local anaesthesia, and recovery time post-thread lift is negligible.

The non-surgical treatment procedure targets specific depths of the facial structures for facial rejuvenation and treats localized facial concerns such as wrinkles, laxity in the skin, hyperpigmentation, and scars.

Compared to the surgical process, non-surgical treatment for facial rejuvenation is cost-effective. The procedure is brief, with minimal pain.

Aftercare procedure is minimal, but one has to follow pre and post-treatment instructions by Dr Krithika Jagadish strictly.
